PR Week Follow us:
US Weekender  |  September 21st 2019

There are just 10 days left to enter the PRWeek U.S. Awards 2020! And don't forget to mark your calendars for PRWeek's biggest and best conference yet, PRDecoded: Purpose Principles, next month in Chicago, as well as the PRWeek U.S. Hall of Fame and 40 Under 40

Among this week's highlights, or lowlights, depending on how you look at it, was the Don't Have a Bookmark? meme, which some brands saw as an opportunity and others thought was deeply offensive.

Another of this week's trends was high-ranking communicators from Silicon Valley exiting their roles. Steve Dowling is stepping down from Apple after 16 years, with Phil Schiller stepping up, and Shannon Brayton is retiring from the CMO role at LinkedIn, to be replaced by Melissa Selcher.
