We're a couple weeks into the coronavirus pandemic in the U.S., and leaders with strong communications skills are beginning to stand out. Elected officials, like New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo, and healthcare professionals, like Dr. Anthony Fauci, have been lauded for their efforts to educate the public.

Agencies continue to evaluate and respond to the situation: A survey by PRWeek found that nine out of 10 PR pros say campaigns have been cut due to coronavirus; hospitality shops are having to make "life-wrenching decisions" about their workforce; and agencies will have to either adjust or start from scratch on their 2020 Tokyo Olympic Summer Games campaigns. From the larger holding companies: Interpublic Group has revoked its 2020 financial predictions, and Omnicom touted a multi-billion-dollar cash-reserve cushion.

One final, more light-hearted, note: Trevelino/Keller found a safe, socially-distanced way to share their excess toilet paper supply.
