2 Widmeyer's 2011 revenue was recalculated from $11,185,946 (as reported last year) to $9,086,689 to remove rebillables and pass-throughs.
3 Fuse revised its 2011 revenue figures from $3,923,220 to $4,539,998 to include income from Monitor, a promotional tools company under the Fuse umbrella.
4 Brandware's 2011 revenue was recalculated from $2,725,499 (as reported last year) to $2,346,868 to remove rebillables and pass-throughs.

* The following agencies' 2011 revenues all changed slightly from what was reported last year (this year's ranking noted in parenthesis):
After internal audits, Jackson Spalding (43), LaunchSquad (58), Airfoil (62), VPE Public Relations (150), and K/F Communications (160) all revised 2011 revenue slightly. FoodMinds (88) adjusted its 2011 revenue to incorporate design fees, while Dukas Public Relations (110) revised its 2011 revenue to remove rebillables and pass-throughs.
Holding company figures: The 2013 rankings do not include the majority of agencies owned by the following holding companies: Interpublic Group, Omnicom, WPP Group, Havas, and Publicis Groupe. These companies claim the Sarbanes-Oxley Act prohibits them from revealing revenues and headcounts for their constituent agencies.
Data: Revenue is defined as fee income earned in the US, markup on billable items, and, when applicable, advertising commissions up to 10% of fee income. Revenue from subsidiaries and affiliates was not included if there was less than 50% ownership, while "n/a" denotes not applicable, where the agency did not submit the figure.
Attesting: The agency CEO or CFO were required to sign their submission attesting to the accuracy and completeness of the figures presented. Agencies were encouraged to submit a letter from their CPA firm, as well.
Disclaimer: While every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of these figures, PRWeek is not responsible for, nor does it make financial guarantees based on, the information presented or any inference that could be drawn from them.
