City issues charity briefs

The City of London has put out two PR briefs as it looks to promote its charitable trust and its work with disadvantaged young people.

Its first brief concerns The City Bridge Trust, which makes grants of £15m a year to charitable projects benefiting the inhabitants of Greater London.

Grants are paid for with funds surplus to those given by the City of London Corporation to the City Bridge Trust for bridge maintenance.

The successful agency will promote and explain the City Bridge Trust and will be required for one year.

Secondly, the corporation is seeking an agency to promote the work it does partnering with less advantaged London boroughs to encourage young people to work in the City.

This brief is currently held by Rain Communications.
