Matthew Freud and Alan Parker make The Sunday Times Rich List 2010

Matthew Freud and Alan Parker are among the PR professionals to make this year's The Sunday Times Rich List.

Freud Communications founder Freud jumped 42 places to number 336, as a joint entry with his wife Elizabeth Murdoch. The Sunday Times listed the couple with a fortune of £190m, up £42m from last year.

Brunswick founder Parker came in at joint 714, with £90m. He rose from number 853 in 2009 with £85m.

The Rich List reported that fortunes in Britain are soaring. The collective wealth of the 1,000 multimillionaires has climbed to £335.5bn, up £77.27bn on 2009. This is a 29.9 per cent increase, easily the biggest annual rise in the 22 years of the Rich List.

WPP chief executive Sir Martin Sorrell also saw a rise in his fortune in 2010. Sorrell's riches rose by 51 per cent from £83m to £125m, taking him from number 687 to 523.
