The Paris-based agency, which already counts Chinese clients such as Geely, Herborst and Haier, has set up shop in Shanghai.
Li transfers to Open2China from Open2Europe, which counts a comprehensive presence across several European countries. The company also owns a North American subsidiary, Open2America, based in Calgary, Canada.
'More and more Chinese companies are turning to our agency to support their sales and marketing objectives, so opening an office in Shanghai was a logical step in Open2Europe's overseas development,' said Open2Europe business development VP Emma Keenan.
'Zhenyu Li knows our agency inside out, having previously worked with us in our Paris office and this local presence gives us the flexibility and facilities we need to better serve our Chinese clients. It also means that our current European clients, or other companies looking for support at this year's World Expo in Shanghai, can continue their expansion into China with our guidance.'
