Walbrook hires Bob Huxford, Lansons wins pension account

Bob Huxford has joined Walbrook PR as an associate from technology-focused financial PR firm ICIS.

He is Walbrook's first hire since the business started in April 2009 and has more than 13 years' experience in the City. The Pensions Trust, a leading UK pensions provider for third sector workers, has handed a retained PR brief to Lansons Communications. The trust, which specialises in charitable, social, educational, voluntary and not-for-profit sectors, previously used GR Communications.

Peregrine has appointed ex-fund manager comms head Chris Marquardt as a senior consultant. Previously, he was marketing manager for Coronation Fund Managers in London, and head of corporate comms for Signet Research & Advisory, a global fund-of-hedge-funds firm in Lausanne.

F&C Asset Management has recruited Brunswick's Sandra Carlisle as director of governance and sustainable investment. Previously, Carlisle was a director at Brunswick.

Dawson Holdings, the distributor of newspapers and magazines, has handed a retained financial comms brief to Hogarth. The firm previously used Smithfield.

Teamspirit Public Relations has promoted Natalie Orringe from associate director to director and Ursula Delaney from group account director to associate director.

Castlestone Management, the specialist asset manager, has brought in Leslie Casilla as its head of PR and comms. She joins from BlueCrest Capital, where she headed its investor relations.
