After PR revenues slumped by 15 per cent in 2009, the first quarter of this year delivered modest organic growth of 2.4 per cent compared with the same period one year earlier.
PR revenues reached $275.5m, accounting for 9.4 per cent of Omnicom's total first quarter earnings.
Overall revenues grew 6.3 per cent from £2.75bn in 1Q 2009 to $2.92bn in the same period this year. But net income for the quarter dropped by 0.7%.
UK revenue showed a healthy eight per cent growth, with international revenue in general increasing by 9.3 per cent.
