Clarks appoints Shine for consumer brief after competitive pitch

High street shoe retailer Clarks has appointed Shine to raise the profile of its children's ranges.

The agency will help Clarks Kids to support brand-building campaigns.

The campaign will focus on key kids ranges & sub-brands, including Clarks First Shoes, CICA sports shoes and Bootleg, a range for 'tweenagers'. The brief also encompasses an international strategy role.

The agency won the brief in a seven-strong competitive pitch that included Frank and Mischief.

Starting immediately, Shine will report to children’s brand manager Simon Hathway, who said: ‘Shine demonstrated significant UK & international experience and a clear understanding of our core audience, as well as providing solid strategic thinking in engaging a wider mass audience.'
