Jeremy Miller, number three at financial agency Gavin Anderson and an
operational director of the agency, has left to join Seeboard.
As a result of his departure the agency will lose financial PR business
for the electricity company, which Miller has handled for several years.
From 1 November the business will move in-house at Seeboard with Miller
advising the firm on a freelance basis.
Contacted at Seeboard this week, Miller declined to comment on the
reasons for his sudden departure.
Gavin Anderson chief executive Howard Lee said: ‘We never comment on
personal things like this. It’s between the company and Jeremy.’
Miller had been with the agency since its emergence from the remains of
Valin Pollen International, the financial PR and IR firm which went bust
in 1991.
The loss of the Seeboard account is unlikely to have a great impact on
Gavin Anderson which has had a successful few months landing business
from TSB in its merger with Lloyds Bank, handling work for regional
electricity firm Manweb and landing the contract to advise British
Energy, the nuclear business to be privatised next year.
