Edelman senior takes a step back
Richard Edelman, president and co-CEO of Edelman PR Worldwide has been
promoted to CEO and president. His father Daniel Edelman, who founded
the agency in 1952, will continue to work as chairman of parent company
Daniel J Edelman.
Citigate to assess Kuala Lumpur Airport
Citigate has been drafted in by Kuala Lumpur International Airport to
undertake a global communications audit. Part of a consortium that
includes a management consultancy and air transport consultancy,
Citigate will assess perceptions of Malaysia among visitors and the
overall needs of its main airport.
K&R to boost business use of ISI
The DTI has hired Kinross & Render to help promote its Information
Society Initiative (ISI), a pounds 35 million, four-year programme to
encourage greater knowledge and take-up of information and communication
technologies among UK firms. The account is worth pounds 50,000.
Dainton moves up at Buena Vista
Disney-owned Buena Vista Home Entertainment has promoted Angela Dainton
to UK PR manager. She replaces Jenny Swift who joined Sainsbury’s
consumer affairs department earlier this year.
