Charles Barker, one of the best known brands in the public
relations business, is to lose its 186-year old logo and to be renamed
Charles Barker BSMG following the agency’s takeover by US public
relations group BSMG Worldwide, formerly known as Bozell Sawyer Miller,
last July. Charles Barker is BSMG Worldwide’s only European PR agency
and while the group is not expected to make any further changes to the
Charles Barker brand, it will be looking to strengthen its European PR
presence in the next few months, particularly the German market.
