Evans, who started work a fortnight ago, reports directly to Marc

Phillips, chief executive of Tenovus. His main function is media

relations, with additional responsibility for marketing.

Evans said: ’The charity sector has become highly competitive and, in

order to ensure future fundraising, Tenovus has to adopt the latest

commercial practices’.
