National cancer charity Tenovus has taken its PR in-house,
appointing Tim Evans to the new post of PR manager. The charity’s PR was
previously handled by the Petersen Partnership - formerly part of
McCann-Erickson - which had held the account for seven years and for
whom Evans used to work.
Evans, who started work a fortnight ago, reports directly to Marc
Phillips, chief executive of Tenovus. His main function is media
relations, with additional responsibility for marketing.
