Themed restaurant the Fashion Cafe London has appointed Tanya

Nouril as its new head of public relations and marketing.

Nouril joins from the Sports Cafe, where she was public relations and

marketing manager and was responsible for PR, marketing, promotions,

advertising and sponsorship. Nouril will have the same duties at the

Fashion Cafe.

The restaurant’s founders are models Naomi Campbell, Elle Macpherson and

Claudia Schiffer. Its principal partner is US restaurateur Tommaso Buti,

president and chief executive officer of Tommaso Buti Management.

Nouril reports to Buti, along with vice-president of sales and marketing

Elizabeth Harraway, who joins from her post as head of marketing for

Disneyland Paris.

The Fashion Cafe extended its premises into the Rialto Cinema in

London’s West End last November, and has since boosted its PR and

marketing efforts in a bid to persuade businesses and charities to hire

the venue for corporate functions.

’The venue is spectacular and lends itself to premier parties, charity

dinners, gala balls, press conferences and music showcases,’ said

Nouril.

PR agency Richard Dennis Associates was appointed at the beginning of

this year, and Nouril and Harraway have been hired to replace Fashion

Cafe London’s temporary publicist, Alison Bozak, who has returned to her

role as senior publicist for the Fashion Cafe New York.
