NEWS: PR EUROPE; BRUSSELS: Bids called for EC initiative

The European Commission’s DG XV has invited tenders for a PR campaign to publicise the advantages of the internal market. Starting in mid 1996, the ‘citizens first initiative’ aims to explain what the internal market is and how to get information about it. No budget has yet been allocated for the project. The deadline for submitting tenders is 2 November and an appointment is expected by the end of the year.
