Healthcare specialist Complete Pharma Public Relations is to lose its
managing director to the priesthood.
Bertrand Olivier is to leave the agency next July to become a priest in
one of the Church of England’s toughest parishes - London’s Elephant and
Castle. He will be replaced by company director Scott Clarke.
Olivier teamed up with Clarke, pharmacist Moira Gitsham and GP and
author Dr Steve Carroll to found Complete Pharma in 1993.
Clarke said Olivier’s announcement had come as no surprise as he had
been studying for the priesthood one day a week for the past two years.
‘People think its a weird combination to be studying to be a priest and
work in public relations but we are an informal, creative agency.’ said
Clarke.
