Kindred has been awarded the contract for a pilot campaign to increase awareness of the benefits of universities to the nation's economy, culture and local communities. Appointed by Universities UK, the agency will target the general public, including those people who have never attended university. Kindred will deliver the creative identity for the campaign, as well as an integrated PR and social media programme.

Hills Balfour has been appointed to represent Festivals Suffolk, a national campaign to position Suffolk as the festival capital of the UK and to attract domestic and international audiences to events taking place in the county. Festivals Suffolk has been launched by Choose Suffolk and arts and heritage organisations. Hills Balfour will co-ordinate media visits to the county.

Homes for Islington has appointed Jane Sadler as interim comms and marketing manager. Sadler formerly worked at Genesis Housing Group as interim deputy director, policy and communications. Before that, she was head of comms and marketing for the National Policing Improvement Agency.
