City & Corporate: Luther boss joins Glasfiber

Luther Pendragon director Chris Springham is leaving the agency to lead the rebranding of the globe's largest manufacturer of wind turbine blades.

He is to become vice-president, global communications, at LM Glasfiber in Amsterdam. The Danish company will announce a global rebranding initiative within the next month, which Springham will spearhead alongside the five-strong in-house team.

Springham said: 'I've always wanted to work in some aspect of renewable energy/engineering and return to a global inhouse communications role at some point in the hope of another international move.'

He has been at Luther Pendragon for nearly eight years and had been instrumental in winning briefs with firms such as The Energy Saving Trust, Boeing, Continental Airlines and Drax Power.
