STOCKHOLM: US software company Veritas is searching for its first
agency in Scandinavia for a campaign covering Sweden, Finland, Norway
Three agencies have been invited to pitch for the work which would be
led out of the company’s Scandinavian base in Stockholm.
The brief is to raise Veritas’ profile among large companies which use
networked computer systems.
Veritas European marketing communications manager Karen Ancell said: ’We
want to make sure as many people as possible know we are here and that
we can help.’
The agency will liaise with Veritas’ recently opened Stockholm office
and its marketing department in the UK.
The company’s Scandinavian PR was previously handled out of its UK
Veritas is one of the largest independent suppliers of software which
ensures information is stored on servers and computer desktops. Its
software is pre-installed in computers manufactured by firms such as
Compaq and Sun.
Veritas retains DPA for its PR in the UK and Harvard in France.
