The United Nations Foundation, a US-based charity, has selected Fleishman Hillard to support its technology partnership with The Vodafone Foundation.

The partnership leverages the power of wireless technology to support and strengthen humanitarian work worldwide. The agency will focus on raising the partnership's profile in the UK and Europe.

Charities can win £5,000 worth of free digital media support by entering a competition launched by ST16. The winning charity will be able to work with film and video production specialists on a project of their choosing. The British Red Cross has auctioned a day out with Lindsay Lohan on eBay to raise money for its Haiti Earthquake Appeal. The prize included four nights in the five-star Peninsula Hotel in Beverley Hills and shopping with the actress in Los Angeles.

Mencap has launched its annual photography competition for people with a learning disability, their friends, carers and families. The campaign is called Snap! and entries are used to show the world through the eyes of people with a learning disability.
