PUBLIC SECTOR: Southwark seeks communications chief

Southwark Council is seeking a communications manager to replace incumbent Robin Hutchinson when he leaves the post at the end of March. He is currently employed on a consultancy basis at the council, reporting to head of marketing and communications Amanda Hearst. Heading a team of five, Robin has worked for the organisation for the past two years, initially as a communications officer. He took the communications manager role on a six-month contract.

Southwark Council is seeking a communications manager to replace

incumbent Robin Hutchinson when he leaves the post at the end of March.

He is currently employed on a consultancy basis at the council,

reporting to head of marketing and communications Amanda Hearst. Heading

a team of five, Robin has worked for the organisation for the past two

years, initially as a communications officer. He took the communications

manager role on a six-month contract.



Hutchinson says he will be leaving to take up a number of similar

consultancy projects.
