Imedia Corporation, the digital broadcasting company, has appointed Text
100 Benelux to handle a pan-European communications programme.
Established in 1994, Imedia engineered a system called Statmux which
enables large companies, like BSkyB, to transmit up to 24 video channels
on a single analogue cable or DTH channel without picture quality loss.
The Text 100 contract was awarded without a competitive pitch and is
worth Dfl 140,000 (pounds 56,000) in fees.
The agency has developed a six-month ‘grass roots’ campaign focusing on
cable and satellite trade press and the technology section of national
papers in the UK, France, Germany, and the Benelux countries.
Text 100 will also support Imedia’s three planned trade shows for 1997
and organise training sessions for European clients.
