International software firm Restrac is searching for a PR firm to
spearhead a UK marketing drive.
The move comes just over a year after the American-owned human resources
software firm moved into the British market. It currently has seven
clients in the UK, including BT, Hewlett-Packard and British Airways.
Jay Fleming, international sales and operations director, said the UK
search follows the success of its US PR activity.
‘Now we have been in this market for about 18 months we are looking to
expand our client base,’ he said.
‘Our PR work in the US has been extremely successful. We are convinced
there is a need for this kind of approach in the UK and so intend to
turn up our marketing efforts.’
Fleming said Restrac was likely to retain a hi-tech agency to focus on
the business press.
