1. The EasyJet press office was celebrating this week as it was crowned the UK's largest airline by passenger numbers by Civil Aviation Authority figures. The team sent out orange pizza-sized cookies that read 'size matters' to 100 key journalists, sweetening the news. The airline's press team had to taste them first, of course.

2. Golden Goose PR is promoting TV presenter Jasmine Harman's sledding exhibition through Sweden to raise money for the Dogs Trust. To drum up some last-minute sponsorship, the team hosted a pooch-themed quiz in a south London pub. Those taking part were asked to bring their own dogs to join in the fun. Who said never work with animals?

3. It was a bad week for David Beckham, but a better one for Manchester Airport's press officers when they used Twitter to document his arrival in their halls. As well as managing BBC, Sky Sports, ITV and a plethora of photographers, the team posted live coverage and pictures on the social networking site, securing much feedback from users.
