The Student Room appoints Band & Brown to target corporate recruiters

A student social networking site that has over 2.8 million members has hired Band & Brown to promote its value to corporates.

The Student Room has asked the agency to deliver an integrated campaign that drives awareness among corporate recruiters seeking graduate talent, colleges and universities recruiting students, brands selling products to a youth audience and government departments looking for insight into this demographic.

‘With more than 2.8million 14-20 year olds engaged in daily conversation about all aspects of their lives, careers, interests and aspirations, The Student Room presents a massive opportunity for people to engage directly with, and raise their own profile among, young people’, said marketing director Jamie O’Connell.

The agency won the work following a four-way pitch. Band & Brown board director Valerie Weisenreder will head up the four-strong agency team.
