Charitable trust Business in the Community has appointed Paul
Sternberg as communications director and charged him with building an
enlarged communications team.
Sternberg joins from the Media Trust where he was a director. He
replaces Chris Wyld who has become a director of Business in the
Community’s ’Time to Read’ campaign.
Business in the Community promotes and runs business and Government
schemes to reinvest in local communities. It currently has a
communications team of three which Sternberg will enlarge to six as he
implements a new corporate communications strategy and attempts to build
Business in the Community’s involvement as a partner in various
Sternberg also aims to raise the profile of the efforts of the 400
companies which contribute to Business in the Community’s initiatives.
It is jointly funded by these 400 member companies, including many of
