industrial espionage.

For, following Larkspur Communications’ landing of the Lee Cooper

account (PR Week, 18 July), there are now three PR shops within 30sq

metres, handling big brand jeans accounts: Shilland and Co with Levi’s,

Jackie Cooper PR with Lee, and Larkspur.

’We look right into Shilland and Co’s windows,’ says Larkspur’s Matt

Fearnley, a chap who knows a thing or two himself about putting on the

style, ’and Jackie Cooper is only about four doors away.’

But the big qestion is: has he come across anyone searching through his

dustbins yet?

’Well, no. I’m sure the telescope that’s appeared in one of our

near-neighbour’s windows must denote an avid interest in the Mir space

station.

Mustn’t it?’
