International real estate consultant Healey and Baker is looking

for an in-house public relations manager following the resignation of

Justin Hopkins.



The partnership employs 1,200 staff and partners worldwide and is one of

the top three commercial real estate consultants in the UK.



H&B is the biggest handler of retail properties in this country,

although the firm is trying to expand its industrial business. It has 26

wholly owned and 12 associate offices in Europe and associations

throughout the rest of the world.



Sir Brian Goswell, managing partner responsible for marketing, said the

brief for the job was to ’secure maximum exposure for our business

achievements and the senior people behind them, both in the UK and

internationally’.



Unlike its UK rivals, including DTZ Debenham Thorpe, Jones Lang

WoottonHealey and Baker does not use a network of regional PR agencies.

’We do not find them to be cost-effective,’ said Hopkins.



Hopkins, who has been at Healey and Baker for three years, has set up

Insider Communications, specialising in television and radio PR. His

firm will also handle business to business and some consumer work.
