STOP PRESS: Incepta shows healthy profits

Interim results released by Incepta this week show that the Citigate Communications Group has beaten its target of pounds 3 million profits to the year end August 1997. This target was set at the time of the reverse takeover in March and means that a deferred consideration of 45 million shares can now be released from Incepta to Citigate. The enlarged Incepta group reported turnover of pre-tax profits of pounds 2.6 million, on turnover of pounds 43.1 million. Citigate’s public relations business notched up a turnover of pounds 8,132,000 and pre-tax profits of pounds 830,000.
