INTERNATIONAL BORDER LINES: MOSCOW: Stedman quits Arthur Andersen

Michael Stedman has left his job as marketing affairs director for professional services consultancy firm Arthur Andersen in Russia to set up his own PR consultancy there. He will specialise in providing PR support to the car industry and law, accountancy and management consultancy firms. Stedman left the UK three years ago to set up Andersen’s first PR and marketing support unit for the former Soviet Union. He previously worked as PR manager for the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, a consultant at Paragon Communications and a journalist on regional newspapers. His replacement at Andersen is Katherine Lean, who joins from Price Waterhouse.
