INTERNATIONAL BORDER LINES: SINGAPORE: Hendin leaves Boeing for Edelman

Edelman PR Worldwide has appointed Gerald Hendin, vice-president for international public affairs at the Boeing Company, as general manager of its Singapore office. He joins in September, replacing Margie Warburg, who is returning to her native New Zealand for personal reasons. Edelman’s Singapore office acts as a hub for the region, given the number of companies headquartered there. The agency has an annual fee income of pounds 1.25 million and employs 20 people. Clients include mobile phone company Ericsson. The agency has nine offices in Asia Pacific. Hendin reports to Robyn Stefiani, Edelman’s Asia Pacific president.
