Rado, the Swiss-owned, luxury watch company has appointed consumer
agency Propeller Direction to handle its UK public relations.
Rado previously used London-based agency Bridgehouse PR which it
appointed last year. Marilyn Wicks, client services director of
Propeller Direction, said the agency’s appointment was made without a
pitch. The account carries annual fees of pounds 100,000.
’This is a new initiative to push Rado in the UK,’ said Wicks. ’The
brand was performing well with little or no PR support, but we intend to
push a new lifestyle concept that will make Rado a watch of the future.
We specialise in working on small brands and building them.’
