Bulletin enlists Kettlewell for senior broadcast role

Jennie Kettlewell, former chief executive of Shandwick Communications, will join broadcast PR consultancy Bulletin International in September as its first group director of operations.

Jennie Kettlewell, former chief executive of Shandwick

Communications, will join broadcast PR consultancy Bulletin

International in September as its first group director of

operations.

The move has ended speculation over Kettlewell’s future after Shandwick

closed the offices of subsidiary Shandwick Communications as part of a

restructuring earlier this year (PR Week, 8 May).

Kettlewell said that she has decided not to accept the offer of a job

elsewhere in the Shandwick network and is currently working out a notice

period. She added that she had chosen to join Bulletin so that she could

play a more pivotal role in new media and broadcast PR.

Kettlewell takes operational responsibility for the agency’s six

worldwide offices and will support Bulletin’s group chief executive

Anthony Hayward.

’Bulletin is an exciting company. It is utilising electronic media to

design and implement PR strategies,’ she said.

Jo Hambly, Bulletin’s marketing manager, said: ’The new position was

created to give Anthony more free time to concentrate on other areas in

the agency. Jennie’s immense experience of operational management will

help Bulletin to continue to provide clients with the very best

strategic advice and exceptional results.’

Bulletin International manages accounts for brands including Marks and

Spencers, BMW, Rolls-Royce and Mastercard International.
