handle its UK launch in June.

The company, which will set up an operation in Reading, produces

accounting and financial software for corporate clients. Rivals include

Oracle, Coda and SAP.

Until now Agresso has marketed its products in the UK through its

business partners Fraser Williams and Ampersand, but from June the firm

will promote its own products directly and seek a wider range of

business partners.

Arrow has been briefed to prepare the ground for the launch among the

technical and trade press, industry analysts and users.

‘Now they think the market is taking off and they want a UK base,’

explained Arrow account director Andrea Burton. She added that the

agency will be retained after the launch period to handle media

relations. Arrow’s total annual fee is expected to be around pounds

60,000.Two other agencies pitched for the contract, including Reading-

based PR firm The Sage Partnership.
