Norwegian software firm Agresso has called on Arrow Public Relations to
handle its UK launch in June.
The company, which will set up an operation in Reading, produces
accounting and financial software for corporate clients. Rivals include
Oracle, Coda and SAP.
Until now Agresso has marketed its products in the UK through its
business partners Fraser Williams and Ampersand, but from June the firm
will promote its own products directly and seek a wider range of
Arrow has been briefed to prepare the ground for the launch among the
technical and trade press, industry analysts and users.
‘Now they think the market is taking off and they want a UK base,’
explained Arrow account director Andrea Burton. She added that the
agency will be retained after the launch period to handle media
relations. Arrow’s total annual fee is expected to be around pounds
60,000.Two other agencies pitched for the contract, including Reading-
based PR firm The Sage Partnership.
