Flack: Frontline annual quiz won by Lexis

To the PRCA Frontline annual quiz, hosted last week by grumpy comic MC Hardeep Singh Kohli.

The winning team was Lexis PR's 'The Lex is On Fire', with 38. Shockingly, Flack only managed joint third on 35, while the biggest losers were Salt PR's 'Let's Get Quizzical' (clearly they didn't), with 26. Best raffle prize of the evening was a dinner for two at The Ivy, donated by the PRCA itself. Meanwhile, Burson-Marsteller pushed the boat out by donating a selection of Actimel probiotic drinking yoghurts as a prize. Cheers guys ...

Former Virgin Atlantic comms director Paul Charles is now safely ensconced at Lewis PR but is being haunted by his previous role - literally. One of his last jobs at the airline was to secure product placement in Roman Polanski's new film, The Ghost Writer. Charles posed as a business traveller in Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse behind Ewan McGregor during the filming - and the scene made it into the final edit. It seems Chime CEO Lord Bell may have annoyed Edelman UK CEO Robert Phillips. On his CitizenRenaissance blog, Phillips complained about how Bell had 'ridiculed' some of his comments on a recent radio show. Former Racepoint director of digital strategies Philip Sheldrake joined in with a no-holds-barred attack on the Lord, which was still on Phillips' site last time Flack looked.
