BORDER LINES: DUBLIN - Carr snaps up Flaherty

Former Irish member of parliament Mary Flaherty has joined Carr Communications as a consultant, following her decision to retire from local and national politics. A member of Fine Gael, Flaherty served as a social welfare and health minister. She has spent time with her family since losing her Dublin North West seat in the Irish election last June, after 16 years in the Dail, the Republic of Ireland’s parliament. At Carr she will focus on training, providing clients with media and presentation skills programmes.
