Vauxhall Motors has strengthened its press office with the

appointment of Graeme Fudge to the new position of chief press officer

for product affairs.

Fudge joins from Kia Motors, part of MCL Group (Mazda Cars Limited),

where he headed communications as press and PR manager. At Vauxhall he

reports to product and business affairs director Andrew Andersz, who

heads its ten-strong press office.

Andersz said: ’Graeme has joined us to work on a number of new projects.

There are parts of the operation which need strengthening and Graeme

will help.’

Vauxhall employs 15 PR specialists who report to director of public

affairs Tony Spalding. In addition to Andersz’ external relations team

Vauxhall has government and environmental affairs teams.
