ENIC, the investment trust which is in the process of buying stakes

in four European football clubs, has hired Financial Dynamics to handle

financial PR as it seeks to change its trust status to become a fully

listed leisure company.

ENIC is negotiating the acquisition of 25 per cent of Glasgow Rangers

football club and a controlling stake in three European clubs - Vicenza,

AEK Athens and Slavia Prague.

Financial Dynamics was appointed without pitch after building a strong

base of leisure sector clients, including Manchester United, Leicester

City and Southampton. John Bick, a director at FD, will lead the ENIC

team.

ENIC, formerly the English National Investment Company, is partly backed

by Bahamas-based billionaire Joe Lewis and has a market value of around

pounds 300 million.
