Flack: (Saving) on expenses - The Draft House, London SW11

Reviewer: Zoe Springett, senior account manager, Westgate.

- What is it good for?

Beer fans will feel they have died and gone to heaven at this stylish and vibrant pub/bistro in Clapham, which offers an impressive choice of 17 draft and 50 bottled beers.

- Signature dish

Brunch specials include croque monsieur and kedgeree and corned beef hash. For two people, the more-than-generous T-bone steak on a chunky wooden board with piles of onion rings and chips is delicious.

- Who's the boss?

Adam Simmons, who used to run members-only club Abigail's Party, is a great host.

- Tips please?

Free tasters of 'cheese of the week' are offered every weekday evening, and staff arrange tours of the local Sambrook's Brewery - great for client entertaining.

- What's the damage?

Lunch prices start at a very reasonable £5 and main courses from £9. The Sicilian house red and white wines are excellent at £13.75 a bottle, while beer starts from as little as £1.05 for a third of a pint of house ale Wandle.
