Opinion: From our Readers - Industry luminaries fail to shine on radio

I don't know about anyone else but I listened with increasing frustration to Evan Davis' BBC Radio 4 magazine programme, The Bottom Line, last Thursday.

The subject was the PR industry and it featured luminaries Tim Bell (Chime), Robert Phillips (Edelman) and Julia Hobsbawm (Editorial Intelligence).

However, instead of a lively exposition of our industry and its critical role in modern business, why did it sound like a trio of veterans settling old scores? What an opportunity to get our message across. And what an own goal.
