Runaway porkers Butch and Sundance are the hottest properties in
showbiz following their acquisition by the Daily Mail, and one PR man is
set to capitalise. Mark Borkowski is negotiating with the pigs’ new
owners to take over full responsibility for their careers.
’We need to watch Butch and Sundance closely,’ says Borkowski. ’Their
owners have to be aware of the negative PR implications if the pigs are
not nurtured properly.’
Borkowski advises the Mail that the first priority is to get them safely
tucked away for a period of rest and recuperation. A possible location
is a Cotswold wildlife park another an organic animal sanctuary.
Then the pigs will be sent on to open supermarkets and endorse
’Butch and Sundance fit nicely into the portfolio of my other clients,’
However, there are darker motives lurking behind Borkowski’s attempts to
represent them. It seems that he sees Butch and Sundance as a chance to
atone for past sins.’My first ever job was selling frozen hams over the
phone,’ says Borkowski. ’It’s a guilt trip.’
