Ketchum and Pleon launch new 'change management' business

Ketchum and Pleon, the two Omnicom Group agencies that merged six months ago, have launched a new global practice focusing on 'change management'.

Ketchum Pleon Change will combine the assets of two existing units: Pleon's change and transformation practice, and Ketchum's Stromberg Consulting.

The new division will immediately count offices in Atlanta, Chicago, New York, London and Munich. Ketchum Pleon Germany MD Ralf Langen becomes president at Ketchum Pleon Change, based in Munich, after previously heading the Pleon change management practice across Europe.

In addition, David Rockland - currently partner and MD of Ketchum's global research network - becomes CEO. In Atlanta, Tyler Durham is named global business director, overseeing North America. His EMEA counterpart is Katrin Schwabe, based in Munich.

'Increasingly, our clients are seeking integrated change management programs to drive greater internal alignment with their external corporate reputation or marketing efforts,' said Ketchum senior partner and CEO Raymond Kotcher.

'If the two work in concert, they can help pay off a company's or product's value proposition. If not, the downside can be steep.'
