BORDER LINES: LOS ANGELES - Universal appoints two

US film and TV company Universal Television and Networks Group has appointed communications directors in Europe and the US to help co-ordinate its global communications programme. Shirley Henry and Zenon Dmytryk started work last week in London and Los Angeles respectively, with the aim of raising the company’s consumer and corporate profile.

Dmytryk started work last week in London and Los Angeles respectively,

with the aim of raising the company’s consumer and corporate

profile.



Henry will promote the company across Europe, where it has several

branded networks and talk shows, while Dmytryk will promote the company

in the US, Latin America and Canada. They will also handle media

relations and internal relations, reporting to group communications

vice-president Karin Timpone.
