Money market fund specialist AIM Global Advisors has appointed
Cubitt Consulting to raise its profile with investors.
The agency won the work, which carries a six-figure fee, after a
three-way pitch, replacing three-year incumbent Citigate Dewe Rogerson.
Marc Domani, AIM’s global head of sales and marketing, said that as the
PR firm grew and merged it needed a smaller, specialised agency.
AIM advises insurance, banking and commercial organisations on how to
run money market funds, which invest in short-term instruments such as
The London-based firm, which is a division of FTSE-100-listed
international fund management firm Amvescap, recently launched one of
the first euro money market funds.
Part of Cubitt’s task is to promote the new product, particularly with
institutions such as insurance companies and corporate treasurers of
major companies with cash to invest.
