Money market fund specialist AIM Global Advisors has appointed

Cubitt Consulting to raise its profile with investors.

The agency won the work, which carries a six-figure fee, after a

three-way pitch, replacing three-year incumbent Citigate Dewe Rogerson.

Marc Domani, AIM’s global head of sales and marketing, said that as the

PR firm grew and merged it needed a smaller, specialised agency.

AIM advises insurance, banking and commercial organisations on how to

run money market funds, which invest in short-term instruments such as

Government bonds.

The London-based firm, which is a division of FTSE-100-listed

international fund management firm Amvescap, recently launched one of

the first euro money market funds.

Part of Cubitt’s task is to promote the new product, particularly with

institutions such as insurance companies and corporate treasurers of

major companies with cash to invest.
