1. Leicester PR agency Rock Kitchen Harris organised a 'wacky races' event to raise money for its client.

The agency has handled the PR and website for the Save Launde Abbey campaign since April last year, and has helped raise more than £1m. The Abbey will now continue to be open to the public as a result.

2. Weird request of the week. North East-based agency Robson Brown wants to do a restaurant review - of itself.

The team has launched a 'bring a course' lunch in the office to help staff through the recession. Apparently, its pink cup cakes are 'to die for'. Top tip? 'The seats facing the TV and near the radiator are most popular.'

3. It's nearly the end of January and the resolve to stick to all those 'must exercise', 'must be healthier' resolutions is waning. Cirkle has decided to help its staff with their January New Year's resolutions by investing in an office Power Plate. Get shaking, girls.
