Dutch software vendor Fenestrae has hired its first PR agency, Text
100 to raise awareness of its brand and office management products. The
account is worth pounds 180,000 a year.
Text will handle PR in the Netherlands, Germany, UK, France and
Belgium.
The agency will also receive a further pounds 80,000 for launching
Fenestrae’s PR drive in the US and will work on a project basis in
Scandinavia, Spain and Italy. In addition, the agency will develop
awareness of Fenestrae in Asia and Australia.
Fenestrae makes software which facilitates office communications. Its
Faxination product, for example, integrates faxes, telexes, and mobile
phones. Faxes can be sent to and from the desktop as though they were
e-mails.
Fenestrae appointed Text without a pitch. The account will be
co-ordinated from Text’s Amsterdam office by account director Jurn
Hageman. He will work closely with Edwin Velsink, Fenestrae’s marketing
communications director. The US campaign will be co-ordinated by Andrew
West, senior vice-president and general manager of Text 100’s Boston
office.
Fenestrae recently signed an agreement in the US with Dialogic, a
provider of computer telephony, to make compatible hardware.
Fenestrae’s products are sold as part of software packages produced by
companies like Microsoft.
