Brando lands Bupa brief

Bupa has hired its first retained PR agency ahead of a campaign to increase public understanding of its services.

The private healthcare giant has chosen Brando to roll out a consumer PR programme and develop a strong brand personality for Bupa that celebrates its wellness and healthcare credentials.

Brando beat off Blue Rubicon to land the account, which will be led by Brando managing director Mandy Sharp. Brando will implement a mix of media relations, digital and social media activity over the next six months.

Sharp said: 'The campaign will have a strong digital element alongside creative news generation and social media.'
