Sony Ericsson appoints Brando to define social media strategy

Sony Ericsson UK & Ireland has called in Brando to define its social media strategy.

The agency has been appointed alongside Cossette digital sister agency Dare, after a competitive pitch.

The appointment extends both Dare and Brando’s current remits with Sony Ericsson – Dare as lead global digital agency and Brando as lead PR agency for the UK and Ireland.

Brando and Dare will work alongside Sony Ericsson’s marketing and consumer teams to define and plan the mobile operator’s activity across networks such as Facebook, YouTube and Twitter.

The agencies will also look at the company’s engagement with the blogging communities.
