Embattled car giant Renault has called in crisis management agency
Anthonissen and Associates to tackle the negative fallout from its
decision to close the Vilvoorde plant in Belgium. Hired last week, the
Antwerp-based agency is monitoring developments and providing advice on
how to communicate the company’s case for closing down the plant with
the loss of 3,100 jobs. On 16 March, 50,000 demonstrators marched on the
streets of Brussels to protest against the closure.
