FA to seek new comms chief as Adrian Bevington moves on

Adrian Bevington, director of communications at the Football Association, is to take up a new role as Club England managing director after this summer's World Cup in South Africa.

He will continue to lead the communications division until he starts the new role, with the World Cup a ‘key priority' according to the FA.

The FA added that it will shortly be advertising for the post of director of marketing & communications.

In his new role, Bevington will be reporting directly to the chief executive Ian Watmore and working closely with Michelle Farrer, director of Club England Team Operations.

He will provide executive management team responsibilities and stakeholder management for all England representative teams of any age, gender, disability or type of football, working closely with all the England coaching and support staff.
