Harkin in PR partnership with Sophie Rhys-Jones

Sophie Rhys-Jones, Prince Edward’s long-term girlfriend, and ex-Hollander PR managing director Murray Harkin, have formed their own company.

Sophie Rhys-Jones, Prince Edward’s long-term girlfriend, and

ex-Hollander PR managing director Murray Harkin, have formed their own

company.

The duo, who worked together at Hollander until Harkin left last

December after just nine months, are currently the only staff at

Westminster-based R-JH Public Relations. Rhys-Jones, who is a joint

partner, is expected to work for the agency for at least three days per

week.

The company, which officially launches next week, is expected to recruit

further staff after it has attracted enough investors to form an

advisory board.

R-JH PR has won its first client in the Graduate Employability Test

consortium.

It won the business in a competitive pitch in December - the month in

which PR Week exclusively revealed Rhys-Jones and Harkin were to regroup

(PR Week, 13 December).
